Mujtaba is a career private equity and venture capital investor. He started his career at BlackRock Private Equity Partners, where he helped invest in companies including Asurion, Cotiviti and Rivian. After BlackRock, he joined GSV Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on education and workforce startups. He led GSV’s first investments in India, MENA, and LatAm. His portfolio at GSV includes Abwaab, Classplus, and Toddle.
Since 2021, Mujtaba has made 17 angel investments. He has a Seed to Series A graduation rate over 50%. His portfolio includes startups such as Fathom, Hadrius, and Kredete.
Mujtaba was born in Srinagar, Kashmir and grew up in the Virginia suburbs of DC. Although he was raised in a family of lawyers, he became interested in investing at an early age. He bought shares in Apple when he was 16. He started at Yale College when he was 17 and graduated at 21. Mujtaba’s investment interests span from single family rentals to pre-seed tech startups. His personal interests range from bowhunting deer to building Star Wars legos.

Idris Mokhtarzada is a serial entrepreneur and technologist. He co-founded and was CTO of Truebill (acquired by Rocket for $1.3B) and Webs (acquired by Vistaprint for $118M). As a founder, he raised $85M+ in funding from 50+ investors including Accel, Bessemer and Y Combinator.
In addition to being a technologist and builder, Idris is an active investor. Since 2012, he has made 30+ investments, including a seed investment in Coinbase. Idris enjoys working with founders and backing bold ideas.
Idris grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland in an Afghan-Turkish household. He started Webs (originally Freewebs) with his brothers when he was still in high school. He eventually studied Computer Science at the University of Maryland. In 2021, his family established the Mokhtarzada Hatchery to support entrepreneurship at UMD. Idris doesn’t have hobbies because he has three young kids.

Subhan Jahromi is an entrepreneur and investor who is deeply passionate about working with founders from day zero. He co-founded & is the co-CEO of Edgevana, a leader in edge and AI infrastructure deployment. He also co-founded Char’d Smash Burgers, one of the world’s only seed-oil-free restaurant concepts. An entrepreneur since the age of 13, Subhan loves to help founders secure their first customers, investors, or distribution partners. He will work to ensure they have every chance to succeed.
Subhan was born in Swansea, grew up in Wales and has now spent the last decade in Northern Virginia. In between zoom calls and visits to his restaurant locations, Subhan makes trades and angel investments. Although he also has three young kids, he makes time to wreck Mujtaba in pickleball.
